Prague - Dear readers, in the unlikely case you have not had enough of holiday season wishes by now, here comes one from the team, which has been bringing you English-language news at Aktuálně.cz for the last quarter of the year.
We will now leave you to the merrymaking and retire to hibernation for the rest of the year only to come back bigger and better than ever in 2008. That´s a promise.
Who are we?
The work of the whole team has been very anonymous most of the time, with the articles signed almost exclusively by the authors of the original Czech texts.
But I think this is a good opportunity for a roll call of everybody who has helped put the Czechnews online over the last three months (and two weeks, to be exact).

And I could not be happier to announce to you that from January this site will finally have what you all deserve: a competent head in the person of Naďa Straková, whom I happen to know rather well and so can assure you that under her leadership the Czechnews is guaranteed to rock.
