Yesterday Prague saw a protest against human rights violations in Tibet and in China. The demonstration was organized at the occasion of Czech Olympic Committee's meeting in a nearby Automoclub building. The protesters met to urge the Czech Olympic Committee and Czech athletes not to be afraid to speak out against the human rights abuse in Tibet. The demonstration, organized by People in Need foundation and Amnesty International, started at 2 pm in Opletalova Street and ended up in a park in front of the Prague Main Rail Station where a concert took place.
